Sweeet! God of War 2 is officially beta now. I searched on google images for the word beta and this image came up in the top three…so this is now the god of War 2 Beta mascot…beta the kitten. Don’t be fooled by the innocent exterior this is actually most vicious kitten to ever live. It has already killed 57 people including a local orphan boy that looked at it funny. You don’t mess with beta…ever!We are burning some discs for everyone to take home over their holiday break and play. So it will be a God of War 2 Christmas for some…hopefully they will all come back with a ton of good notes and we will spend all of January fixing up and polish the game to make is super mint!!! I can’t wait to finish this thing and get more people playing it.
As for the idea that we pushed back so why don’t we add some levels…we pushed back to make sure everything we have now is as tight and clean and fun as it can be. We are using that extra time to make the game solid not to add more stuff to it and release a buggy game. So no luck on that….and for the special edition…I think it would take way more than a few weeks to do that so I don’t see that happening right away.
As for the demo we are still looking to finish that thing up in Jan. as well so I will keep you posted on the status of that and make a big post when the demo’s get shipped out to everyone. It will be friggin’ sweet.

Yeah, I love console gaming and God Of War keeps me to it, that and Ratchet & Clank, Jak & Daxter, and the few other good console games, I also have my PSP, which has a few good games. Ohj, by the way, this isn't counting the next-gen stuff, I can't afford that right now.

I know it's X'mas time and every body is having a good time and I've one quick question. Like GOW1, we haven't seen any of those great cut scenes at all, are there any cut scenes like GOW1? And are there any Bonus Features like GOW1 as well?

I Believe it is an official trailer for God of War, cause it uses many sound clips that weren't in the game. I don't remember Kratos yelling "God of War!"... or Ares saying "I gave you all of that" or however he said it in the video.

Actually, I'm pretty sure he does. The one in a flashback cutscene and the other I think is near the end of the game.

That's not how he says it in the game. Kratos doesn't yell "God of War" and Ares doesn't say "Do you feel the rage that drives your blades, that is my doing!"

I thought of that long ago..It can't be..at least not if the image they used from the demo hadn't been changed..I have plenty of pics of the fleece (which was never visibly worn by Kratos) and it had spikes coming out of it..this armor had nothing of the sort..it wasn't a perfect match for the pads seen on Kratos' God armor either but it was closer. Besides..there were two pieces and the Golden Fleece is just one item.

That movie looks completely awesome to me, little bit different action style, but I think it works. Like as if it has sort of a slo-mo Matrix feel at times in the trailer. Truly a promising looking movie. I can't wait to see it. It may even be better than Gladiator in some ways. But never the God Of War movie, whenever that omes out, in more than a few years, probably, but I assume that's the tiem needed.

The Release date was originally February, but then they decided to delay it EVEN THOUGH 1UP says they hate delays. so now it's March.
